London’s Royal Academy, an institution that supports artists and architects, hosted a dinner last night (July 08, 2019), that included readings of historic artists’ letters by Ellie Bamber, Benedict Cumberbatch, Juliet Stevenson and Clarke Peters.

A philanthropic initiative, Letters Live promotes the power of literacy by inviting influential artists to perform live readings of historical letters, while adding their own artistic interpretation to the original text.
